Engineering Manager, AI Applications

📋 Description

• Lead a team of 4 engineers, coaching and goal setting.
• Define and drive long-term strategy with tech/product leaders.
• Lead projects to scale AI with top customers; start with finance cases.
• Build Plaid AI integrations with providers; MCP servers.
• Redefine Plaid's consumer link in conversational interfaces.
• Architect trust layer for future agentic commerce.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of industry exp; includes time as Staff engineer before mgmt.
• 1+ years engineering management experience.
• Hands-on with LLMs; prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG.
• Experience with semantic search, vector databases, embedding models.
• Strong user research skills; be your own technical PM.
• Track record of building and growing high-performing teams.
• Ability to balance divergent and convergent thinking for 0->1.
