Engineering Manager - AI Product

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a small team of AI engineers, fostering ownership and collaboration.
• Define technical vision and architecture for AI product, ensuring performance and cost efficiency.
• Contribute hands-on to design and optimize production AI systems, including model serving and
• Oversee end-to-end AI platform, including GPU infrastructure, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Backend teams to align priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering, at least 2 in leadership role.
• Experience building/operating production AI/ML platforms, with model serving, GPU workloads
• Strong backend skills with Python; distributed systems experience; Go/Rust advantageous.
• Hands-on with modern LLM tech, model APIs, vector databases, retrieval, and prompt engineering.
• Understanding of AI quality evaluation, observability, and monitoring for non-deterministic systems.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, containerization, IaC, CI/CD, Linux, networking, and monitoring
