Engineering Manager - AI Product

📋 Description

• Lead a small team of AI engineers, fostering ownership and engineering excellence.
• Define technical vision and architecture for the AI product, focus on performance, scalability
• Contribute hands-on to design/implementation of production AI systems (model serving, inference
• Oversee AI platform, including GPU infra, deployment, versioning, embedding pipelines, monitoring
• Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, Security, Backend to align priorities and deliver
• Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and translate long-term goals into execution plans.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software engineering; at least 2 years in engineering management/tech leadership.
• Experience building/operating production AI/ML platforms, model serving, GPU workloads, latency
• Strong backend with Python; distributed systems; Go/Rust a plus.
• Hands-on with modern LLM tech: model APIs, open-weight models, serving frameworks, vector DBs
• Understanding AI quality evaluation, benchmarking, observability, regression testing, monitoring.
• Experience with cloud (prefer AWS), Kubernetes, containers, IaC, CI/CD, Linux, networking
