Engineering Manager, Applied AI

📋 Description

• Manage engineers through senior level with direct feedback, coaching, and support for progression
• Review architecture, agent designs, prompt strategies, and evaluation approaches across client
• Step into complex technical and client situations including production regressions and unclear
• Build strong engagement-level relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Manage staffing and team transitions across engagements, anticipate capacity and delivery risks
• Support engineering hiring by interviewing, calibrating, closing candidates, and onboarding

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing software engineers including feedback, coaching, and developing people
• 5+ years software engineering experience with technical depth to review designs and guide decisions
• Strong hands-on Python experience
• Experience delivering production software in real client environments with complex or evolving
• Strong interest in applied AI including agents, evaluations, and multi-agent systems
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and modern AI-assisted engineering workflows
