📋 Description

• Own pod performance, priorities, ownership, and expectations
• Own operating cadence including planning, retros, and follow-through
• Remove blockers for engineers
• Hold high standards, accountability, autonomy, and psychological safety
• Be accountable for pod delivery and roadmap risk
• Intervene in stalled or poorly scoped projects

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing engineers directly, ideally 5+ on a product or platform team
• Credible engineering background - shipped production software, can read PRs and evaluate design docs
• Track record of delivery - teams improved shipping under management
• Fluency with modern AI product development - evals, experiment design, dataset curation, use of AI
• Comfort with ambiguity and high-complexity domains (e.g., mortgage origination)
• Strong product partnership instincts
