Engineering Manager, Billing & Accounts

📋 Description

• Own the billing and accounts domain end to end: processing, billing, and pricing.
• Lead and grow a team of 5-6 billing engineers, with a clear scaling path.
• Deliver the billing roadmap this year, including a major pricing model migration.
• Bring proven payments industry patterns into Manychat and raise the bar.
• Guide architectural decisions with engineers: challenge designs, assess risks.
• Partner with Product for Billing scalability and with Finance on tax/compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience building and running billing, payments, or processing systems.
• Experience at a SaaS or self-serve product company of comparable scale.
• A solid engineering background: you review architecture and spot bad designs.
• People management: hiring, coaching, and handling underperformance with respect.
• Ability to build fast relationships with team, product, and finance stakeholders.
• Comfort in a fast-moving environment while pushing for more structure and maturity.
