Engineering Manager

📋 Description

• Directly manage and support a team of engineers, creating the conditions for them to deliver
• Partner closely with Product, Design, and Success stakeholders to plan and execute the product
• Coach engineers, support their career development, provide constructive feedback, and help them
• Remove execution obstacles and continuously improve team processes, collaboration patterns, and
• Diagnose project execution challenges by assessing people, processes, scope, dependencies, and
• Maintain strong technical involvement by understanding the problems the team is solving and

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2 years of engineering management experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating the
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and a technical background in either the Clojure ecosystem
• Ability to fluently read and understand code and technical design documentation and participate
• Strong product sensibilities, with the ability to critically assess product proposals and design
• Demonstrated ability to debug project execution and determine whether changes are needed across
• Strong problem-decomposition skills, with an ability to break complex work into smaller, lower-risk
