Engineering Manager, Cell Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead design and delivery of multi-cloud cell placement and orchestration.
• Build and grow the cell infrastructure engineering team.
• Drive cost visibility and optimization with finance and platform teams.
• Own the reliability model for cell infrastructure, including on-call and incidents.
• Define cross-cloud routing, data residency, and portability decisions.
• Develop tooling so teams deploy on cell infrastructure without internal complexity.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems.
• Operational ownership of highly reliable systems (on-call, incidents, SRE).
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems fundamentals such as consistency, partitioning, multi-region.
• Experience leading engineering teams in a distributed environment.
• Ability to hire, develop engineers, including senior ICs and managers.
• Experience building platform capabilities or developer tools.
