Engineering Manager, Continuous Deployment and Change Safety

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team delivering continuous-deployment, config, and feature-flag platforms.
• Set technical direction for safe deployment across services.
• Partner with product, inference, security, and infra teams to default to safe deployments.
• Drive roadmap for progressive rollouts, health-check automation, and new deployment surfaces.
• Define and track metrics for deployment safety and speed.
• Create clarity for teams in a fast-moving platform buildout.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience managing and growing a team of software engineers.
• Hands-on software engineering background prior to moving into management.
• Experience building or operating backend, distributed, or infrastructure systems in production.
• Working knowledge of deployment and cloud-native tooling: CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes, IaC.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across teams.
