Engineering Manager - Core Payments

📋 Description

• Lead the technical evolution of the core platform, APIs, and payments integrations.
• Own system and integration architecture for backend services and payments flows.
• Contribute hands-on development, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Ensure scalable, maintainable, well-documented solutions for enterprise merchants.
• Collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to align needs.
• Drive API design, testing, and performance best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience managing and growing engineering teams, including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong ability to drive technical decision-making and manage competing priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience in payments companies, payments-related teams or with PSP integrations.
• Deep experience in payments infrastructure, including network tokens, routing, and transaction optimization.
• Solid hands-on backend engineering experience, with proficiency in Java, Golang, Kotlin or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architectures, APIs, and integration patterns.
