Engineering Manager, Data Engineering Experience

📋 Description

• Lead a team of ~10 engineers focused on Developer Experience for data engineering workloads.
• Own surfaces like Workspaces (Snowsight), Cortex Code Desktop/CLI, Pipeline Observability UIs.
• Deliver products such as dbt Projects on Snowflake, DCM, Pipeline Builder.
• Collaborate across UX, backend, data platforms, and customers to shape roadmaps.
• Mentor and grow team members; foster a high-trust, AI-enabled culture.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of management experience.
• Proven track record leading technical teams; familiarity with IDEs, distributed builds, cloud dev
• Strong product instincts; ability to work with customers and author roadmaps.
• Excellent cross-functional relationship building across Snowflake’s stack.
• Hands-on mindset; build real projects, advocate for products, leverage AI in decision making.
• Mentoring mindset; track record of growing others; bonus: dbt, Airflow, Spark or similar.
