Engineering Manager, Deals and Offers

📋 Description

• Lead, hire, and develop a high-performing engineering team.
• Stay hands-on: write and ship code on high-leverage projects.
• Review PRs and lead design reviews to improve quality.
• Own the technical direction for the deals and offers surface.
• Partner with Product, Design, Analytics to grow deals.
• Drive architecture and scale the platform as volume grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• Hands-on coding ability; stay technical and review PRs.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor).
• Strong technical foundation; guide architecture and decisions.
• Experience shipping consumer features and running experiments.
• Experience with SOA and backend platforms; Rails, React Native, AWS.
