Engineering Manager, Developer Experience

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers.
• Own roadmap and delivery for APIs, webhooks, and data flows.
• Partner with product, design, partnerships, and customers to shape roadmap.
• Drive API design standards, event delivery guarantees, and integrations.
• Track engineering health with DORA metrics and KPIs; set release standards.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard engineers; manage ramp.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years engineering, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Background in developer experience, API platform engineering, or tooling.
• Deep familiarity with API design and HTTP/event integration patterns (REST, webhooks, async).
• Proven track record shipping scalable, high-quality systems with clear outcomes.
• Fluent in modern backend stacks; strong TypeScript/Node.js; code review.
• Experience partnering with external customers on integration; cross-functional delivery.
