Engineering Manager, DevOps

📋 Description

• Drive self-service automation with Terraform and Kubernetes for infra provisioning and Datadog monitoring.
• Advance Kubernetes deployment patterns: blue/green, canary, and feature flags.
• Lead AWS disaster recovery with multi-region scaling and cross-region replication (Aurora, DynamoDB, S3).
• Implement SLOs, error budgets, chaos testing, and auto-remediation in Datadog; own on-call culture.
• Mentor DevOps, DBAs, and SecOps; develop the next generation of engineers.
• Collaborate with Product Eng and Data teams to align roadmaps; contribute hands-on with Terraform modules and Helm charts.

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of DevOps leadership managing DevOps or SRE teams.
• 7+ years in hands-on platform or infrastructure roles.
• Strong self-service track record enabling hundreds of engineers to ship autonomously.
• Deep AWS expertise with multi-region, high-throughput systems (> $100M GMV).
• Expert in CI/CD and IaC: GitLab CI, Terraform, Kubernetes; progressive delivery and secrets management.
• Observability & security mindset: Datadog; PCI/SOC 2/GDPR; least-privilege.
