Engineering Manager, Embedded Experience

📋 Description

• Lead fullstack engineering pod(s) building Harvey's embedded surfaces — the Word and Outlook
• Own delivery of agentic experiences in those surfaces: running custom agents and workflows without
• Collaborate closely with Product and Design to translate the team's charter into quarterly
• Drive operational excellence — reliability, latency, and cost-per-query — on high-traffic surfaces
• Contribute to code and architecture reviews, unblock teams, and lead by example when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in a software engineering management role leading full stack product
• 5–7 years of experience as a full stack or backend product engineer.
• A track record of leading high-performing, engaged engineering teams and shipping polished
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g. React) and backend systems (e.g. Python, Node, Go).
• Strong cross-functional instincts — you partner with PM and Design as peers and can represent the
