📋 Description

• Lead and grow a 9+ engineer team with coaching and feedback.
• Set and drive technical/product direction for Plaid Europe.
• Shape the roadmap across teams and balance speed vs risk.
• Tackle complex technical design and unblock production issues.
• Represent engineering in leadership discussions; align Europe priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years industry experience, including Staff before management.
• 2-3+ years engineering management experience.
• Track record coaching and growing engineering teams.
• Own production product area; partner with Product/business.
• Design scalable, reliable systems for real-world products.
• Strong technical judgment; deep architecture skills.
• Nice to have fintech/payments or regulated domains.
• Nice to have international or multi-region leadership.
