Engineering Manager, Experimentation Data Infrastructure

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Data Infrastructure team for Statsig Experiment at Amplitude.
• Own data ingestion, data computation, and the stats engine powering experiments.
• Translate statistical methods and ML research into scalable product capabilities.
• Partner with data scientists, engineers, PMs, and customers to advance experimentation.
• Define technical and scientific strategy for cloud and warehouse-native deployments.
• Evolve data and computation architecture to support complex experiment designs.

🎯 Requirements

• A strong data science background with hands-on experimentation experience.
• Experience leading teams (10-15 members) delivering data-intensive products.
• Familiarity with variance reduction, sequential testing, Bayesian inference.
• Experience building large-scale data ingestion and distributed computation across cloud and data warehouses.
• Ability to connect statistical innovation with data architecture and customer needs into a roadmap.
• Advanced degree in statistics, mathematics, CS, economics, or quantitative field (valued).
