📋 Description

• Lead and mentor backend engineers with technical guidance
• Own the team's technical roadmap aligned with Flights goals
• Drive backend architecture and API decisions across the flight search domain
• Partner with Flights PM, frontend engineering, QA, and Design for cross-functional delivery
• Ensure features refined with Definition of Done and clear ownership
• Improve execution and production readiness across backend/frontend delivery

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years backend or platform software development
• CS/SE degree or equivalent practical experience
• Experience leading backend engineers and coaching
• Strong API design and backend architecture fundamentals
• Observability and monitoring tools experience for reliability
• Java experience with modern backend frameworks in production
