📋 Description

• Lead and grow a high-performing Backend and Data team for Homepage and Discovery.
• Define and execute roadmap for large-scale content discovery, ranking, data, and backend.
• Drive personalization initiatives, real-time user signals, and ranking observability.
• Partner with ML/DS, Product, Design, Frontend, Ads, Marketplace, and Search teams.
• Build a culture of technical excellence, reliability, experimentation, and talent development.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as an Engineering Manager/Tech Lead, leading backend/data/ranking teams.
• Strong depth in distributed systems, SOA, high-throughput backends, data infra, or ML-serving.
• Experience leading large-scale, consumer-facing production systems with high reliability.
• Track record delivering complex cross-functional initiatives with measurable impact.
• Experience growing engineers and developing technical leaders.
• Technical and strategic: guide architecture and roadmap across backend data.
