Engineering Manager, Identity & Access Management (IAM)

📋 Description

• Build, lead, and grow the IAM engineering team.
• Define long-term tech/architectural strategy for IAM.
• Develop secure, scalable identity capabilities (federation, SSO).
• Evolve RBAC, policy evaluation, and resource hierarchy (least privilege).
• Adopt IAM across Lambda via consistent APIs and standards.
• Own Lambda's Key Management Service (KMS) including keys/HSMs.

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years software engineering experience; 3+ years leading teams.
• Built large-scale distributed systems with high availability and security.
• IAM: authn/authz, workload identity, policy enforcement.
• Lead architecture; guide tradeoffs for security, scale, operability.
• BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• Cross-functional leadership and clear stakeholder communication.
