📋 Description

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of engineers building Reddit’s Knowledge Graph Platform; create a
• Set the technical direction and roadmap for a scalable knowledge graph platform, including data and
• Establish production-grade operating standards: defining SLOs, implementing quality measures of
• Partner with engineering, computational linguists, and domain-expert teams to define a shared
• Be a steward of data in the KG - ensure the graph has the coverage and freshness needed for
• Work closely with internal product and engineering teams to understand their needs, prioritize

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of total software engineering experience, with 2+ years directly managing, coaching, and
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical
• Experience building or operating AI/ML powered, or data-intensive platforms, with a proven track
• Strong understanding of how to turn a technical system into a product-like platform: setting an
• Experience establishing data contracts around quality, lineage, or governance.
• Strong technical judgment across distributed systems, backend services, data platforms, APIs
