Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Platform

📋 Description

• Define and execute ML training/serving platform roadmap, incl. GPU infra.
• Lead, mentor, and develop platform engineers; drive tech strategy.
• Drive reliability, scalability, developer experience, and cost trade-offs.
• Build platforms enabling ML teams to develop, deploy, and operate models.
• Evaluate/adopt modern ML infra tech, incl. deep learning and transformers.
• Partner with ML engineers, product, and infra teams on AI initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in software/ML engineering; at least 2 years leading teams.
• Hands-on experience building and operating production ML platforms or distributed infra.
• Experience in model training, serving, deployment workflows, GPU infra, or large-scale compute.
• Solid understanding of ML data needs: datasets, quality, reproducibility, evaluation.
• Familiarity with deep learning, transformer architectures, and large-scale model workloads.
• Ability to collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions.
