Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Platform

📋 Description

• Define/execute the ML training/serving platform roadmap (training, deployment, GPU infra, low-latency serving).
• Lead and mentor a platform engineering team; stay engaged in technical strategy and decisions.
• Drive reliability, scalability, developer experience, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Build/improve platforms enabling ML teams to develop, deploy, and operate models efficiently.
• Evaluate/adopt ML infra tech: deep learning, transformer workloads, and large-scale compute.
• Partner with ML engineers, product, and infra teams to support AI initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering and/or machine learning engineering, including at least 2 years managing engineering teams.
• Strong hands-on experience building and operating production machine learning platforms or distributed systems infrastructure.
• Experience with ML model training, model serving, deployment workflows, GPU infra, or large-scale compute.
• Solid understanding of ML data requirements, including training datasets, data quality, reproducibility, and evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with modern ML technologies such as deep learning, transformer architectures, and large-scale model workloads.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to collaborate with senior engineers on architectural decisions.
