Engineering Manager, Online Storage - SF

📋 Description

• Lead and grow the Online Storage team with coaching and hiring.
• Drive multi-cell scalability: data isolation, regional distribution.
• Own reliability and disaster recovery for core storage systems to defined RPO/RTO.
• Set technical direction for unified search platform and permissions consolidation.
• Partner with product teams: triage needs, guardrails, balance velocity and stability.
• Own on-call health, incident response, and observability for the data layer.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years managing teams of 6+ engineers.
• Hands-on experience building/operating production data infra: DBs, caching, storage, or search.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS or related field.
• Nice to have: SaaS or FinTech experience.
• Nice to have: bootstrapping large scale 0→1 projects.
