Engineering Manager: Personalization

📋 Description

• Lead a cross-functional ML, backend, and data analytics team
• Guide research and experimentation balancing long-term and near-term impact
• Partner with Product & Engineering to boost revenue via personalization
• Act as player-coach: contribute to architecture, model design, and reviews
• Develop representations, embeddings, segmentation, and evaluation frameworks
• Drive retailer KPI improvements and scale personalization

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years building and deploying ML systems in production
• 1+ year leading engineering teams
• Strong ML fundamentals; hands-on with modern ML frameworks and lifecycle
• Strong Python; large-scale data systems; APIs; distributed systems
• Experience designing, evaluating, deploying models that drive measurable business outcomes
• Experience with experimentation, A/B testing, and metric-driven development
