Engineering Manager, Platform

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a cross-functional platform team; set clear priorities and maintain quality.
• Stay hands-on with architecture and decisions; guide infra design, scalability, and standards.
• Own the platform roadmap: CI/CD, cloud infra, observability, secrets, and DB reliability.
• Partner with teams to set SLOs and reliability targets for the platform.
• Coach engineers with regular feedback and mentorship to build a high-performing team.
• Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring work is well-scoped and integrated.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of engineering management with proven delivery and team growth.
• 8+ years in software or infrastructure engineering with depth in platform/DevOps.
• Strong technical acumen for architecture decisions, infra design, and fundamentals.
• Solid cloud infra (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and DB reliability.
• Mentor engineers, manage performance, and build engaged, growing teams.
• Proven recruiting experience.
