Engineering Manager (Platform - Application Excellence)

📋 Description

• Lead the AppEx team from concept to rollout with engineers and stakeholders.
• Own developer productivity and internal developer experience outcomes.
• Listen, synthesize feedback, and build buy-in; own a clear roadmap.
• Coordinate with SRE, Security, Principal Engineers, and leadership.
• Manage and coach engineers; enable growth and high-impact performance.
• Stay hands-on and technically credible; contribute to code and reviews.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience as a senior engineer on complex, cloud-based systems (Go a plus), including Platform or Internal Developer Experience teams.
• Management experience with several direct reports (2+ years) at two places; passion for developing people.
• Excited by and have experience building products for internal stakeholders and developers.
• Excellent at building trust and alignment; gather feedback and communicate rationale.
• Thrive in ambiguity; shape loosely defined problems into a clear sequenced path.
• Proactive, take ownership, and push for better outcomes.
