Engineering Manager, Platform Security

📋 Description

• Lead a highly autonomous security engineering team
• Build IAM systems for humans and machines with least privilege
• Secure dev to prod supply chains and CI/CD processes
• Define and ship secure baselines for cloud infrastructure
• Manage vulnerabilities for a fast-moving engineering org
• Advise on risk, architecture, threat models, and code reviews

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years as people manager of 3+ security software engineers
• Passion for diverse, inclusive teams and coaching
• Comfortable writing the roadmap, not just following one
• 3+ years securing systems with millions of users
• Expert reasoning about security of complex systems
• Experience building in and securing cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Cloudflare)
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Rust
• Experience with agentic AI and AI security practices
