Engineering Manager, Security Detection & Response

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end detection, investigation, response, and post-incident review.
• Lead high-severity incidents with clear decision-making and remediation.
• Stay technically engaged across cloud infra, SaaS, and user behavior.
• Define security observability strategy, telemetry onboarding, and alert tuning.
• Oversee Panther detections and MITRE ATT&CK-aligned use cases.
• Build and lead a remote Security Detection & Response team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in Security Detection & Response or related field.
• 2+ years people management, remote-friendly.
• Hands-on with SIEM, security observability, and Panther.
• Strong Python for automation and tooling.
• Automation, Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Cloud-native platforms, telemetry, SaaS; GCP preferred.
