Engineering Manager / Senior Engineering Manager, Application Platform

📋 Description

• Lead the Application Platform foundation team for Engagement.
• Own shared platform capabilities: authentication, IAM, logs, billing, tooling.
• Drive team rituals and delivery cadence (planning, backlog, standups, retros).
• Partner with Product, Infra, Security to ensure reliable, secure, scalable platform.
• Lead AI adoption within the platform while maintaining security and reliability.
• Shape the technical vision for the Engagement backend and internal APIs.

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
• Proven backend or platform leadership in a SaaS environment.
• Hands-on with modern backend systems and distributed architecture.
• Cloud-native production experience, ideally Kubernetes and GCP-based environments.
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, auditability, developer tooling, CI/CD, and service integration patterns.
• Track record adopting new engineering practices or technologies, including AI-enabled workflows, with focus on security, reliability, and stability.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication across engineering, product, security, and adjacent platform teams.
• Ability to switch between strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
