Engineering Manager - Shipping

📋 Description

• Drive technical direction and system ownership for the Fulfilment domain.
• Improve post-order experience, reduce shipping friction and increase reliability.
• Partner with Product and UX to shape roadmap and translate priorities into tech strategy.
• Enable faster, high-quality delivery by establishing standards and processes.
• Navigate ambiguity in a scale-up, balancing delivery with platform improvements.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong software engineering foundation with 5–10 years of experience.
• People leadership experience (1–2+ years) growing and coaching engineers.
• Experience in cross-functional product teams with Product, UX and stakeholders.
• Technical decision-making confidence guiding architectural trade-offs.
• Ownership mindset, tackle problems end-to-end in ambiguous settings.
• Marketplace/e-commerce or scale-up experience in logistics/shipping.
