Engineering Manager, System Evaluation

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a team of data analysts to drive actionable insights for engineering.
• Design evaluation workflows, automated triage, and analysis algorithms for feedback.
• Define metrics, acceptance criteria, and success thresholds for releases.
• Develop statistical methods and data pipelines to quantify performance and detect regressions.
• Connect real-world findings to the engineering roadmap; use simulation to predict performance.
• Partner with engineering, flight operations, and Analytics to turn metrics into roadmap insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in data analytics, data science, or operational analysis.
• 3+ years directly managing and growing analytical teams.
• B.S. or M.S. in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or CS.
• Proven experience analyzing complex hardware/software systems and robotics.
• Proven ability to design data pipelines, dashboards, and automated alerts.
• Expertise in applied statistics, experiment design, and A/B testing.
• Strong programming and data querying skills using Python, SQL, or R.
• Exceptional ability to translate data into clear narratives for stakeholders.
