Engineering Team Lead - Email Security (Imunify Email & Email Gateway)

📋 Description

• Lead and mentor a distributed engineering team for an email security product line.
• Oversee architecture, code quality, production reliability, and team development.
• Translate product priorities into plans, manage releases and dependencies.
• Maintain SLOs, monitoring, capacity planning, and security-focused ops.
• Hands-on participation in design reviews, code reviews, and debugging.
• Act as incident leader for critical issues and coordinate remediation.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years as software engineer; 2+ years leading teams.
• Proven experience operating distributed backend services in production.
• Strong Linux background; review production code and troubleshoot live systems.
• Hands-on Go and/or Python development; solid backend architecture and reliability.
• Decision-making experience in complex domains; quick adaptation to new areas.
• Strong observability/data tooling knowledge (Grafana, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Redash).
