Engineering Team Leader

📋 Description

• Lead a small product team of 3-5 engineers (backend and frontend).
• Spend ~30% of time on management; participate in product development.
• Involved in hiring and onboarding of new engineers.
• Be the team spokesperson; manage dynamics and bring out the best.
• Provide continuous feedback and career guidance to direct reports.
• Redesign how engineering ships with autonomous agents as default.

🎯 Requirements

• Managed an engineering team of at least 2 people.
• Extensive Backend experience (Elixir/Phoenix or Ruby or functional programming).
• Strong engineering fundamentals; shipping secure, reliable, scalable systems.
• Practical experience designing or adopting agentic/automation workflows.
• Ability to think in systems: define specs, break down plans, verify quality.
• Solid knowledge of engineering principles and best practices.
