Engineering Tech Lead (Product Security)

📋 Description

• Conduct hands-on penetration testing of products and infrastructure, with a focus on Kubernetes
• Investigate, triage, prioritize, and remediate security vulnerabilities in application code and
• Review new features and security-sensitive architectural designs early in the development
• Analyze Kubernetes attack surfaces including container breakout risks, privilege escalation, RBAC
• Apply strong understanding of Kubernetes components (API server, controllers, admission mechanisms
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical reviews to identify security issues

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on experience conducting penetration tests and identifying/exploiting vulnerabilities in
• Deep practical expertise in Kubernetes security, including container isolation, container breakout
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes internals: API server, admission control, controllers, RBAC, and
• Experience building Kubernetes controllers or operators with controller-runtime, Kubebuilder, or
• Demonstrated experience with threat modeling, secure system design, and reviewing production
• Proven ability to investigate and remediate vulnerabilities, including familiarity with CVE
