Enterprise Support Engineer

📋 Description

• Advise and handle enterprise customer support requests on the PlanetScale platform.
• Become a customer-facing subject-matter expert for enterprise customers.
• Identify product gaps for enterprise customers and coordinate with Engineering, TAM, and Sales.
• Be part of an on-call rotation for high-priority issues.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience supporting production databases and applications, preferably at scale.
• Experience with database internals and performance tuning for PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Strong ability to communicate with customers via email, Slack, video, or in person.
• Comfortable reading and editing code (Vitess or dependencies) to fix docs.
• Able to work independently and know when to ask for help.
