Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate EHS programs across Fremont and South San Francisco sites.
• Maintain permits, registrations, and reporting with local/state/federal agencies; lead inspections.
• Manage day-to-day hazardous waste lifecycle (identification, labeling, storage, disposal).
• Administer stormwater, industrial wastewater, SPCC, and soil management programs; prepare reports.
• Track regulatory changes and translate requirements into site-specific programs and actions.
• Collaborate with engineers and scientists to ensure safe processes and review chemicals.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years in a health and safety role.
• 3+ years handling hazardous materials (acids, bases, solvents).
• Strong knowledge of stormwater, hazardous waste, SPCC, soil rules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
