Environmental Simulation & Reliability Lab Manager

📋 Description

• Lead the Environmental Simulation and Reliability Lab, with budgeting and on-time delivery.
• Schedule daily RFQ intake and quotes; manage customer relationships.
• Hands-on testing: thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, altitude.
• Directly manage lab engineers and technicians; oversee development and performance.
• Develop and review test plans to ASTM, IEC, MIL-STD-810, RTCA/DO-160.
• Maintain ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation; audits, calibration, maintenance.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years in environmental simulation and reliability testing in a lab.
• Thermal, vibration, shock, humidity, altitude, and combined environments know-how.
• Experience supervising engineers/technicians in a lab setting.
• Engage customers technically: write test plans, present results, manage expectations.
• Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements and quality management.
• Bachelor's in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Physics; equivalent experience; HS diploma.
