Perform interlock validation testing for safety-related control systems.
Develop internal safety standards, risk methods, and training programs.
Conduct hazard analyses (HAZOP/FMEA) and safety audits.
Collaborate with design, production, and vendors to integrate safety features from concept to manufacturing.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
5+ years of equipment safety engineering in manufacturing.
Experience designing machine guarding per ANSI/ISO standards.
Interlock validation and safety PLC programming (IEC 61131-3).
Safety risk assessment tools and SIL/PL concepts familiarity; ISO/ANSI standards.
CSP/PE or TÜV Functional Safety desirable; ability to cite clauses in design reviews.
