ERP Solutions Engineer I

📋 Description

• Conduct discovery sessions with government finance teams to map current accounting practices
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect OpenGov's capabilities to real public sector
• Serve as the primary accounting and finance expert during prospect evaluations
• Design and execute proof-of-concept activities that reflect realistic government accounting
• Support RFI, RFP, and RFQ development
• Provide guidance on GASB compliance, purchasing controls, financial reporting, and process

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial systems, ERP implementation, or public sector
• Strong understanding of government accounting principles, fund accounting, GASB standards
• Ability to communicate accounting and system concepts clearly
• Strong analytical skills
• Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration
