Estimating Team Lead

📋 Description

• Lead the estimating team (5 people) with vision, structure and accountability.
• Oversee REAL construction estimating for residential renovation and general contracting.
• Build QC process and an estimate-to-actual feedback loop.
• Scale the team to 175 deals per year; measure accuracy by deal type.
• Collaborate with the CEO; push back with data to protect the estimate.
• Establish systems that make estimates consistent and reliable.

🎯 Requirements

• REAL construction estimating experience (residential renovation, general contracting, or construction).
• Knowledge of material takeoffs, labor pricing, subcontractor scoping, and unseen work estimation.
• Proven leader who has taken a team and built a system with results.
• Self-starter; works with minimal supervision and identifies training needs.
• Systems thinking; designs processes to improve estimate consistency.
• Ability to manage up and defend estimates with data.
