Estimator

📋 Description

• The Estimator prepares detailed cost estimates for electrical power infra projects.
• Analyze client RFPs to define scope, schedules, and design criteria.
• Review drawings and docs to support estimating activities.
• Prepare material takeoffs and evaluate costs (equipment, labor, subs).
• Estimate internal project costs like engineering, procurement, PM, testing.
• Develop bid packages and requests for pricing with vendors.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Power/Civil Eng or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years estimating transmission substations and lines (13.8kV–500kV).
• Experience with EPC, turnkey, utility, renewable, or industrial projects.
• Strong research, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient with MS Word/Excel/Outlook; familiar with MS Project.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Bid2Win or similar Estimating software.
