EU GO Senior Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and build distributed backend systems using Go, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Collaborate with product, design, and enterprise partners to define journeys and metrics.
• Own core parts of Connectly's platform, including messaging and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with product, AI, and frontend teams to deliver scalable features.
• Ensure reliability, observability, and operational excellence across services.
• Track performance metrics and use data to optimize outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Proven track record building and scaling enterprise systems using Go, AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and/or DynamoDB.
• Experience with Python is a plus.
• Experience with frontend engineering (React, TypeScript, etc.) is a plus.
• Prior experience developing or deploying WhatsApp conversational applications is a strong plus.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-centric environments, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech company.
• Based in Europe; remote-first with occasional team offsites.
