European Trade Compliance and Customs Manager

📋 Description

• Lead customs and trade compliance strategy across UK and EU.
• Liaise with 3PLs to optimize bonded warehouse ops.
• Ensure UK/EU compliance: HS codes, valuation, origin.
• Primary contact for HMRC/EU authorities; manage audits.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, internal controls.
• Lead training, mentor staff; partner with Logistics, Legal, Finance.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, International Trade, or related field.
• 7+ years in customs and trade compliance with UK/EU scope.
• Strong UK/EU customs knowledge: HS codes, valuation, origin.
• Experience with bonded warehouses and warehousing controls.
• AEO authorization/experience; BIFA/IOE&IT certificates.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.
