📋 Description

• Own the executive editorial function for Plaid’s leaders.
• Translate strategy and tech concepts into clear content across formats.
• Build credible thought leadership from data, customer realities, and trends.
• Create and lead flagship editorial moments on AI, risk, and payments.
• Establish and drive the executive editorial system: calendar and workflows.
• Balance journalistic rigor with brand strategy and stakeholder input.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years as journalist, executive speechwriter, or senior comms lead.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling with a senior exec portfolio.
• Experience writing for C-level executives and translating complex topics.
• Strong understanding of financial technology, payments, risk, and digital transformation.
• Exec partnership and stakeholder management under time pressure.
• Balance journalistic rigor with brand strategy.
