Experimentalist – Catalyst Development (m/w/d)

📋 Description

• Perform hands-on laboratory experiments involving the synthesis and preparation of catalyst samples.
• Develop, optimise and refine catalyst formulations and preparation recipes.
• Prepare prototype catalyst samples for refining and chemical applications.
• Investigate and improve catalyst preparation methods to ensure reproducibility, quality and
• Translate laboratory-developed recipes into scalable preparation processes suitable for commercial
• Collaborate with scientists, programme leaders, reactor-testing specialists and analytical teams.

🎯 Requirements

• HBO degree in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Technology, Materials Science, Chemistry or a related
• Practical experience in a laboratory environment involving chemical synthesis, materials
• Understanding of laboratory procedures, chemical formulations and experimental techniques.
• Experience working with solid materials, inorganic compounds, powders or catalysts is highly
• Ability to develop, test and optimise preparation methods and experimental recipes.
• Understanding of process development and laboratory-to-industrial scale-up is an advantage.
