📋 Description

• Lead the development and execution of the New Zealand external affairs strategy and annual
• Identify and prioritise policy, access, reputation and stakeholder opportunities and risks in New
• Provide strategic external affairs counsel to New Zealand leadership and cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with government, stakeholders, and patient advocacy
• Monitor and interpret policy, legislative, and political developments affecting medicines access
• Plan and execute government affairs engagement programs, briefings, submissions, and advocacy

🎯 Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in public policy, communications, business, public health, or related
• Strong strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, policy analysis, written communication skills
• Understanding of New Zealand medicines policy, reimbursement and health system stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience in external affairs, government affairs, communications, patient advocacy
• Experience developing and executing stakeholder engagement plans and communications materials
• Experience working with patient organisations, government stakeholders, media, industry groups
