Fabrication Technician

📋 Description

• Provide GSE support: build, install, maintain, and troubleshoot LOX-related plumbing.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and instrumentation.
• Operate and maintain high-pressure systems, pumps, and pneumatics.
• Fabricate and repair GSE hardware and equipment.
• Collaborate with design engineers to document GSE activities.
• Ensure materials are clean and inspected per Clean for Oxygen Service standards.
• Build and maintain structural and engine test equipment.
• Obtain and maintain licenses, operator permits, or certifications as required.
• Follow SpaceX procedures, including quality and safety policies.
• Develop novel ways to streamline processes and increase reliability of testing operations.
• Perform duties in support of engine and structural test stands.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 2+ years industrial experience with piping or high-pressure systems.
• Experience in space exploration or high-reliability environments.
• Experience with ground support equipment in aerospace.
• Mechanical aptitude; skilled with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics.
