Facility Maintenance Technician

📋 Description

• Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, HVAC, boilers, valves, and related gear.
• Diagnose mechanical failures with diagnostic devices and repair/replace parts.
• Ensure automated equipment and systems stay operational through routine checks and troubleshooting.
• Maintain building systems: lighting, HVAC, life safety, and fencing; follow safety procedures.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and service manuals; install piping and electrical.
• Maintain CMMS records, logs, and work orders.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong mechanical knowledge: hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Strong problem-solving; quickly diagnose issues and work under pressure.
• 3+ years' industrial/commercial building maintenance experience.
• HS diploma or GED required; technical training or AA preferred.
• HVAC certification preferred; NFPA 70E, EPA 608.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work around plant materials, pollen, and dust.
