Failure Analysis Engineer

📋 Description

• Perform detailed failure analysis on returned products and field failures.
• Investigate failures in PCB/PCBA, power distribution, BMS, ESC, MOSFETs.
• Lead root-cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, fishbone, FTA, FMEA, Pareto.
• Develop and execute diagnostic procedures and electrical tests.
• Drive CAPA with design, manufacturing, supplier quality, and production teams.
• Document analyses and present findings to engineering and management.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems.
• Degree in Aerospace Electronics preferred.
• 3–8 years in failure analysis, reliability engineering, or hardware validation.
• Experience in UAV/drone or robotics electronics is highly preferred.
• FAA Part 107 certification encouraged within 60 days; required for some roles.
• Strong RCA, CAPA, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
